Many Street Kid Charities in developing nations do not have a corresponding registered charity here in the USA. Thus as you may know, such contributions don’t qualify as a tax deduction. By sending your donations to Street Kid Support the donation is then tax deductible. Your donation will be sent on to the charity you have designated. However, prior to accepting your donation the beneficiary charity must have already been verified by Street Kid Support. For non-verified charities a verification process will be undertaken to determine the validity of the charity, both as a bona-fide charitable organization in the nation(s) in which it is operating and as a charity that addresses the rescue and support of street children, either children of the pavements or children on the pavements, or both.

There you will find links web sites to charities of various types and you can choose one that works for you. You may want to visit the charity one day, so it may make sense to choose one in a region in which you would like to tour. The charities at these links are not necessarily verified, but will be verified by Street Kid Support before you donation is accepted and passed along.

Sending funds from the USA to developing nations can be very inconvenient. Typically one must go to on’s bank and make a wire transfer. This typically costs $40. Such a charge makes small monthly donation impractical. Furthermore, it is too easy for the transfer to be lost, as should there be a problem at the receiving end, the bank you made the transfer from will not assist in resolving the problem. Trying to get cooperation from a foreign bank via telephone or email will not be very easy or worth the time.
